Troubleshooting

Malfunctions often have simple explanations. Refer to the table
before calling the after-sales service as you may be able to
remedy the fault yourself.

Malfunction table

If a dish does not turn out exactly as you wanted, refer to the
Tested for you in our cooking studio section, where you will
find plenty of cooking tips and tricks.
Problem
The appliance does not work.
"Set clock" appears in the status bar. The
time is not the current time. "Select lan-
guage" appears in the settings area on
the right.
The oven door cannot be opened. "Set
clock" appears in the status bar. The time
displayed is not the current time. "Select
language" appears in the settings area on
the right. The
symbol is displayed.
The oven does not heat up or the type of
heating selected cannot be set.
The oven does not heat up. "Demo" is dis-
played in the status bar.
"Automatic switch-off" appears in the sta-
tus bar.
Error messages with E
If an error message with E is shown in the display, press the
button. This cancels the error message. You may then have

Replacing the bulb in the oven ceiling light

If the bulb in the oven light fails, it must be replaced. Heat-
resistant, 10 watt, 12 V halogen bulbs are available from the
after-sales service or specialist retailers. When handling the
halogen bulb, use a dry cloth. This will increase the service life
of the bulb. Only use these bulbs.

Refit the glass cover. When doing this, insert it on one side

Set once again.
Switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box and
then switch back on after approx. 20 seconds. In
the next 2 minutes hold the
four seconds until the text "Demo" disappears.
Press any button. The text disappears. You can
make settings again.
Note/remedy
Press all buttons individually. Check that the but-
tons are clean. If the error message remains,
please contact the after-sales service.
The oven door locks. Wait until the cooking com-
partment has cooled down. Clear the error mes-
sage with the
button.
