6.2 Monitoring

The FMC holds an AD7291 device for monitoring several power supply voltages on the board
as well as the temperature. The device can be programmed and read out through the I

monitoring devices and only read from the devices when the interrupt line is asserted. It is
recommended that the carrier card and/or host software uses the power-down features in the
case the temperature is too high.
