15.5 Mobile connection faults

Make sure the SIM card is valid and installed
Note
correctly, see section 15.2 Invalid SIM card
Fault
No connection to the GPRS modem.
The GPRS modem does not connect to
internet. (Code 015, 159, 301 in WMS)

15.6 User interface faults

Fault
No text in the display.
Smart card reader cannot read the card.
Buttons or lights on the display are partly
not working.
Cause
Battery is discharged or being charged
Internal power supply voltage is too high
Internal power supply voltage is too low
Flow sensor error
Internal error on the HMI board
Sensor supply voltage too low
Water pressure too high (> 4 bar)
Water pressure too low
(< 0.1 bar)
Cause
The IMEI number of the AQtap or phone
number of the SIM card are incorrect in the
WMS.
Telco operator invalid or not entered in
WMS
Cause
No power supply to the control unit
Defective control unit
Defective smart card
Defective smart card reader
Site acceptance test failed repeatedly
Remedy
Check grid power supply availability (downtimes)
and solar power supply installation. For further
details see section 15.3 Insufficient power supply.
replace power supply unit
– check if battery is loaded
– if battery is loaded, replace power supply unit
– make sure that there is grid power or solar
power, or that the battery is charged
– if the problem continues after ½ hour, restart
the AQtap
– replace the control unit
– restart AQtap
– check cable connections
– replace the sensor
– restart AQtap
– replace the control unit
– restart AQtap
– check cable connections between control unit
and power unit
– replace the control unit
reduce water pressure
increase water pressure. Check supply pressure
and installation, see section 15.1 Installation faults
Remedy
Correct IMEI number and phone number in
WMS.
Enter or correct the telco operator in WMS
Remedy
– Check power is on
– check the power supply cable plug
– check cable connections between
power unit and control unit
Replace the control unit.
Try another smart card
Replace the user interface
Replace control unit
