Installing the Light Kit

CAUTION
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION, DISCONNECT THE POWER BY TURNING OFF
THE CIRCUIT BREAKER OR REMOVING THE FUSE AT FUSE BOX. TURNING POWER
OFF USING THE FAN SWITCH IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK.
While holding the light plate under your fan, locate two single white and black wires in

the mounting plate labeled FOR LIGHT. Make the polarized plug connections:
- White to white
- Black to black
Carefully push all wires back into the mounting plate, then install the light plate onto

the mounting plate with 3 screws provided. Be sure to tighten all screws. (Fig. 15)
3. Install 2 x 13W GU24 CFL bulbs (included).
4. Install the glass shade assembly to the mounting plate with screws provided. (Fig. 15)
5. Restore power and your light kit is ready for operation.
NOTE
LIGHT BULBS HAVE NO WARRANTY; CAN BE PURCHASED AT ANY HOME DEPOT
STORE.
