This setting should be done for the area where the machine is sold and used. JPN, NA, EU,
ASIA, China, Taiwan, ROK, Other. This is an important selection because it affects the
following options, depending on which destination is selected:
• Default paper size. LT in NA and A4 for all other areas.
• Units of measure. Inches in NA millimeters in all other areas.
• Fixed steps for reduction/enlargement (see Specifications).
• Reset Toner Counter
(6) Brand ID
This setting should be done for the appropriate brand.
Settings: 0:Invalid ID Check, 1:Ricoh, 2:SP, 3:Lanier, 4:NRG
(7) PnP Name
This is the "Plug and Play" name. This facilitates the discovery the machine the system, without
the need for physical device configuration, or user intervention in resolving resource conflicts.
