3.4 Troubleshooting

Fault Diagnosis
In the event of operating problems or trouble, the display blinks and a fault identification code appears.
Faults marked with the letter "F" cause temporary shutdowns that are automatically reset as soon as the value comes
back within the boiler's normal working range.
If together with the fault the display also shows RESET, the user must reset boiler operation by pressing RESET (5 -
fig. 1). The ignition cycle will thus be repeated.

Solution
Check the regular gas flow to the boiler and the air
has been eliminated from the pipes
Check the wiring of the electrode and that it is cor-
rectly positioned and free of any deposits
Check and change the gas valve
Check the mains gas pressure
Check and if necessary replace the air trap
Check the detection electrode wiring
Check the card
Check the correct positioning and operation of the
delivery sensor
Check the circulator, by-pass and valves in the sys-
tem
Check the wiring
Check the fan
Check and if necessary change the card
Check the grounding
Connect the control unit to the gas valve
Change the valve
Cut off and restore the electricity supply. If the trou-
ble remains, check and/or change the main card
Cut off and restore the electricity supply. If the trou-
ble remains, check and/or change the main card
Check the position of the ionization electrode and
replace it if necessary
Check the burner
Check the Offset setting at the minimum power
Remove the obstruction from the flue, fume extrac-
tion ducts and air inlet and terminals
Check and if necessary clean the air trap
