• When the Camera is set to POWER OFF, the

to select WHITE
BALANCE and press
one of the four settings shown below.
• Default setting is AUTO.

Automatically maintains
optimum color balance in most
lighting conditions.
: When the source illumination
is a halogen lamp.
: When shooting outdoors on a
sunny day.
To set the color balance to a
fixed position based on the
current lighting level, press the
SHTR button while shooting a
white object.
This setting will be maintained
until the MENU button is
pressed to exit. The color
balance will then return to the
AUTO setting.
Press MENU to exit.
• Selected mode will appear on the
LCD Viewfinder. (See page 10.)
Note
white balance setting will be stored in Camera
memory. When the Camera is set to POWER
ON, the white balance setting will default to the
previous setting.
