Installing the display assembly

1. Place the display assembly and close the display.
2. Flip the computer.
3. Tighten the screws to secure the display assembly to the computer.
4. Connect the display assembly connector.
5. Connect the eDP and display assembly cables on the system board.
6. Affix the adhesive tapes.
7. Install the:
a. base cover
b. optical drive
c. hard drive
d. battery
8. Follow the procedure in

b. hard drive
c. optical drive
d. base cover
e. display assembly
3. To release the display assembly:
a. Remove the screws that secure the display to the display assembly [1].
b. Flip the display assembly [2].
c. Remove the plastic tab from the display assembly [3].
4. To remove the display:
a. Remove the screws that secure the display to the display assembly [1].
b. Release the display from the display assembly [2].
c. Lift the display towards the front to access the display cables [3].
