8.3.3 Memory Management
To optimize the performance of the multi-page rapid flipping capability, you may want to
change the settings for the active page buffering and image buffering. The active page
buffering setting controls the number of pages to be stored in temporary memory while
image buffering controls the number of page images (snap-shots) to be stored in temporary
memory.

Click Options on the menu bar and select Set Preferences. Select the Memory
Management tab (Fig 8.3.3).

To change active page buffering, select Automatic (Recommended) to use the default
setting or select Custom Setting to set from 6-10 pages.

To change the image buffering, select Automatic (Recommended) to use the default
setting or select Custom Setting to set from 10 - 70% of the total memory.
