6.12 Effects

Set Transparent
You had always wanted to superimpose a frame or border over your image but the image
will be covered. Now with the Set Transparent feature, you can.
The set transparent feature allows you to pick a color that you want to make transparent.
Once the color is selected, the portion of the image that contains that selected color will
become transparent. You can set as many transparent images on a page as you like.
To set transparent:
1.
Right click on the image and select Effects->Transparent.

Your mouse cursor will change into an eye dropper with trailing color settings. The Red/
Green/Blue color setting indicates the color to be selected. For example, Red: 255
Green: 255 Blue: 255 refers to the white color (Fig 6.12.1)

Once you can decided on the color you want to set transparent, click your left mouse
button and the all the portions of the image that contains that selected color will
become transparent.
