To get into the Image Edit mode in FlipAlbum
1.
Click Edit on the menu bar.
2.
Click Image Edit and then Left Page or Right Page (Fig 6.4.1). Alternatively you can
right click on an image and click Edit.
3.
Edit your image as required.
4.
Save the edited image by selecting the Save As option under the File Menu.
5.
Click Exit under the File menu.
A toolbox of image edit icons is provided at the bottom of the image edit screen for quick
access to editing functions.
The following is a list of the icons in the image editor toolbox and their respective functions.
Image Editor Functions:
1.
New Image: Creates a new blank image file.
2.
Open Image File: Opens an existing image file for editing.
3.
Save Image: Saves the edited image file.
4.
Print: Prints the image on the edit screen.
5.
Undo: Undo the last edit action.
6.
Copy to Clipboard: Stores the image to the clipboard for later recall.
7.
Paste from Clipboard: Recalls from clipboard the most recently stored image file.
8.
Select Rectangular Region: Selects a region of rectangular shape to edit.
9.
Select Elliptical Region: Selects a region of elliptical shape to edit.
10. Deselect region: Deselects a selected region.
11. Crop: Cuts out a selected region (rectangular or elliptical)
12. Normal View: Provides a view of the picture in the original size.
13. Zoom In: Enlarges the viewing size of the picture.
14. Zoom Out: Reduces the viewing size of the picture.
