4.2.10 Fuel ventilation – check valve
The fuel tank has a rubber ventilation pipe. Inside the ventilation pipe there is a small plastic check valve which
allows air to go into the tank. When turned, it will keep any leakage from the Series-S to a minimum.
Have the check valve checked by an official HSR-BENELLI dealer according to the maintenance schedule.
4.2.11 Engine oil system
Make sure that the engine oil is always at the prescribed level so that the engine can work properly. Change
the oil filter and the oil according to the maintenance schedule. The oil looses its lubrication effect in time, and
may gather dirt and metal shavings.
