• Check for cracks and damages in the hose connections and hose clips - replace if necessary.
• Steering - Check steering for smooth and steady operation, and for excessive clearance. Adjust the steering
cable if necessary.
• Throttle - Check throttle lever for smooth and steady operation, and for excessive clearance. If necessary,
adjust the throttle cable. The throttle lever must return automatically to the original position when it is
released.
If the throttle lever does not return to its original position automatically, this may lead to losing
control of the craft.
• Check safety lanyard - Start the engine and run for a short time. Pull off the safety lanyard from the engine
stop button and check if engine stops right away.
