HOW TO GRILL SAUSAGE

Important: Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
Note: The nonstick coating on the grill plates is designed to work without
oil, butter or cooking spray. If desired, you may use oil or butter. However,
aerosol cooking spray should never be used; chemicals that allow spray to
come out of the can build up on the surface of the plates and reduce their
efficiency.
Preheating of the grill is not necessary.
1. Plug electrical power cord into standard electric outlet.
2. Using nylon tongs (never a fork), carefully place uncooked refrigerated
sausage into positions on the bottom grill plate. The grill accommodates
from one (1) to five (5) sausage links. The center position (#1) must
always be filled with a sausage link.
IMPORTANT: The center position (#1) must always be filled with
a sausage link.
If no sausage is placed in the center position (#1), after 90 seconds
of cook time, the grill will beep continuously and flash a warning
light. After 2 minutes, the grill will shut off.
If the grill beeps continuously to signal that no link is in the center
position (#1):
Š Press the power button to shut off the grill.
Š Then move a sausage link into the center position and close the
grill cover.
Š Press the power button again to restart grill (power button red
light will turn on).
3. Close grill cover gently and firmly over sausage links. The temperature
probe in the top center position will insert into the center sausage link
as the grill cover is closed.
4. Push in latch on grill handle until it "clicks" to secure the grill cover
closed.
5. Press the POWER button to turn the grill on. Power button red light
will turn on.
6. The grill will signal with four short beeps and automatically shut off
when the sausage reaches doneness temperature.
