Remove the display hinges (4).
The non-TouchScreen display assembly display hinges are included in the Display Hinge Kit, spare
part number 787712-001 for use on all computer models.
14.
If it is necessary to replace the display panel cable:
a.
Disconnect the display panel cable from the webcam/microphone module.
b.
Remove the display panel.
c.
Remove the display hinges and brackets.
d.
Release the display panel cable from the retention clips (1) and channel built into the top, left, and
bottom edges of the display enclosure.
