Disconnect the webcam/microphone module cable (2) from the webcam/microphone module.
d.
Remove the webcam/microphone module.
The webcam/microphone module is available using spare part number 787736-001 for use on all
computer models.
8.
If it is necessary to replace the display hinges:
a.
Remove the display enclosure.
b.
Remove the following screws that secure the display hinges and display hinge support bracket to
the display enclosure:
(1) Two Phillips PM1.9×2.9 screws that secure the display hinge brackets
(2) Four Phillips PM2.4×3.1 screws that secure the display hinges
(3) Two Phillips PM2.4×3.6 screws that secure the display hinges
c.
Remove the display hinges and display hinge support brackets (4).
The TouchScreen display assembly display hinges are included in the Display Hinge Kit, spare part
number:787712-001 for use on all computer models.
9.
If it is necessary to replace the display panel cable:
a.
Disconnect the display panel cable (1) from the webcam/microphone module.
b.
Detach the wireless antenna transceiver (2) from the display enclosure. (The wireless antenna
transceiver is attached to the display enclosure with double-sided adhesive.)
c.
Release the display panel cable from the routing path (3) built into the display enclosure.
