When turning the unit on for the first time, the Startup Configuration Wizard appears. Follow the on-screen
instructions to perform the setup, including the language setting for on-screen display and voice guidance.
The setup can then be further configured in the setting menu at any time.

Receiving GPS signals
After the initial installation, park your car in a
safe, open place (no high buildings, etc.) for up to
10 minutes to allow for GPS signals to calculate
the current car position properly before using the
navigation system.
The GPS status can be checked by the color of the
current position icon. Touch VOICE/paS. to show the
icon.
Wait until the icon turns red to indicate sufficient
signal reception.

The main menu appears when you turn on the unit (except during route guidance, in which case the map
appears).
