Switching Holiday mode  on / off
This function is useful when going on
holiday if you do not wish to switch the
refrigerator section off completely and
do not need a high degree of cooling.
The freezer section remains switched
on at -18 °C. The refrigerator section is
regulated at a temperature of 15 °C,
which automatically sets the temperat-
ure in the PerfectFresh Pro zone to
between 9 and 12 °C. In this way the
refrigerator section remains in operation
whilst saving energy.

Do not store any temperature-
sensitive food which goes off easily
such as fruit, vegetables, fish, meat
and dairy products during this time.
Food which does not go off quickly can
be stored in the appliance for some
time at this moderate refrigerator sec-
tion temperature and the energy con-
sumption is lower than in normal opera-
tion.
This also prevents the build-up of
odours and mould which can occur if
the refrigerator section is switched off
and the door is closed.
When Holiday mode is switched on, it is
displayed in the start screen:

Selecting further settings
If Holiday mode cannot be switched
on, the refrigerator section has been
switched off separately.
If Party mode or Super cool are
switched on, these will be switched off
when Holiday mode is selected.
