Before using for the first time

Packaging material
 Remove all packaging material from
the inside of the appliance.
Protective foil
The stainless steel trim on the ad-
justable shelves and the door shelves
has a layer of protective foil to prevent
damage during transportation. The ap-
pliance doors and the side panels may
also have protective foil on them.
 Do not remove the foil until the appli-
ance has been positioned in its final
location.
Cleaning and care
Please refer to the relevant instruc-
tions in "Cleaning and care".
Tip: We recommend treating stainless
steel surfaces with the Miele stainless
steel conditioning agent immediately
after removing the protective foil (see
"Accessories - Optional accessories").
Important. Each time it is used, the
Miele stainless steel conditioning
agent forms a water and dirt repellant
protective coating.
 Clean the inside of the appliance and
the accessories.

Using for the first time

Connecting the appliance

 Connect the appliance to the electri-
city supply as described in "Electrical
connection".

Standby
 will appear in the display.
