Servicing the passenger car lamps
E ach passenger car is illuminated by two
lamps (part number 610-9165-300). To
replace the expired lamps, lift off the car

The Observation car also has a lighted

connector from the back of the lamp. Using
needle nose pliers, carefully pull the expired
lamp out of the rubber grommet holding it

turn to remove. Replace with lamp number
610-9165-300.
Lionel part number 610-8082-019. Trim the
pins on the back of the new lamp to match
the length of the ones on the expired lamp
using wire cutters. Press the lamp back into
position in the rubber grommet and reinstall
the connector.
