Replacing your NW2's headlamp

T o replace the headlamp, first
remove the screw on the front of
the engine. Carefully
lift the front end
slightly and pull the
body forward until the
slot in the body clears
the tab on the opposite
end of the frame. Now
lift the body off the
frame. Pull out the
bulb from the lamp
housing on the frame and replace it
with Lionel part no. 600-8352-311,

Replacing your passenger car lamps

T o replace the lamps in your illuminat-
ed passenger cars, first remove the
two screws at the bottom of the car and
lift off the car roof. Grasp the lamp base
available at your local Lionel
Authorized Service Center or Lionel
Service. For more

page 12. To reattach
the body, angle the
front of the body
slightly upward so
that the rear slot fits
into the tab on the
body and the lamp housing posts are
lined up. Reinsert the screw.
and pull the bulb straight up. Replace the
bulb with Lionel part no. 600-8352-311,
available at your local Lionel Authorized
Service Center or Lionel Service.
