Type 1 - Modern RJ12 wall socket
Connect the telephone line
Unplug your existing telephone lead from your RJ12 wall socket. Plug the
new white telephone line into the alarm unit socket labelled 'LINE IN', and
then connect to your RJ12 wall socket (Diagram 8).
Connect the telephone lead
Plug your existing telephone lead into the alarm socket labelled 'HANDSET'
(Diagram 9).
Test the connection
Reconnect the mains power by completing step 3 (page 7). Then place a
test call to the response centre by completing step 4 (page 8).
