Vehicle preparation

•
To arrange for the removal of the engine block, you must first remove the saddle, fuel tank,
side fairings and the battery
•
From the front, secure the vehicle with belts attached to a hoist
•
Position a centre stand under the engine sump
•
Position an engine support so as not to damage the rubber bellows of the drive shaft

Removing the engine from the vehicle

(V7 SPECIAL / V7 STONE / V7 RACER)
•
Remove the two fixing screws of the
collector cover and remove the latter
NOTE
REPEAT THE OPERATION FOR THE RIGHT COVER AS
WELL
•
Loosen the clamp between the ex-
haust end and the catalytic converter
•
Unscrew and remove silencer retain-
ing nut and collect the screw and the
bushing
