Adjustment Procedure
4. Adjusting the initial position of the looper thread trimmer
mechanism
Adjust so that the clearance between counter knife stopper
thread trimmer base
lenoid moves to the extreme left-hand position.
(1) Remove pin screw
(2) When turning the screw section of adjustment link
the clearance is increased, and when turning it counterclockwise,
the clearance is decreased.
(3) Attach pin screw
(Caution) After the adjustment, actuate looper thread trimmer so-
lenoid by hand and confirm that the thread trimmer
device smoothly works.
5. Adjusting the longitudinal position of the moving knife
(1) Bring the needle bar to its highest position.
(2) Loosen setscrews
and adjust the longitudinal position of moving knife
top end of moving knife

(3) After the adjustment, tighten setscrews
(Caution) After the adjustment, actuate plunger by hand and con-
