Reset the KVM switch

2.3 Hardware Installation

Before installation, please make sure all of peripherals and
computers have been turned off.
Step 1 Connecting Monitor to the KVM switch
Connect a VGA cable (15-pin HDDB Male / Male) with the
Male side to both of the Monitor and the rear panel of the KVM
switch unit.
Step 2 Connecting Keyboard & Mouse to the
KVM switch
Connect the keyboard and mouse to the KVM switch. If you
have an AT type keyboard, you will need an AT to PS/2
adapter.
Note: Only use PS/2's keyboard and mouse.
Step 3 Connecting VGA port of PC(s) to the KVM
switch
Now the PC connections will be made with the monitor (VGA)
connections first. Connect a VGA cable (15-pin HDDB Male /
Male) with the Male side to both of the PC's VGA output and
the rear panel of the KVM switch unit to the connector labeled
VGA. Repeat this for all PCs.
Step 4 Connecting keyboard and mouse port of
PC(s) to the KVM switch
Connect keyboard and mouse port of your PC to the rear panel
of the KVM switch.
Step 5 Double-check all of the connections
Please check step1 ~ step4 again and then power on the
computers.
