Removing Debris from the
Cooling System
Remove debris from the screen, oil coolers, and radiator
daily (clean more frequently in dirty conditions).
1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the
ignition switch.
2. Thoroughly clean all debris out of the engine area.
3. Unlatch the clamp and pivot open the rear screen
(Figure 71).

4. Clean the screen thoroughly with compressed air.
5. Pivot the latches inward to release the oil cooler
(Figure 72).

6. Thoroughly clean both sides of the oil cooler and the
radiator (Figure 73) with compressed air.

7. Pivot the oil cooler back into position and secure
the latches.
8. Close the screen and secure the latch.
