Control panel

Temperature indicator
The thermometer sensor (analogue remote-reading ther-
mometer with trend indicator) measures the hot water tem-
perature in the upper part of the hot water cylinder. The indi-
cator is located on the control panel.
1 "Heating element" switch
If the switch is in the "I" position, the heating element is permanently switched
on. In the " " position, the heating element switches to automatic operation
2 "Heat pump" switch
Switch position "O"  heat pump operation "OFF",
"  heat pump operation "ON"

Remote control

The wall-mounted remote control (illustration) is used to switch
the HW HP on and off and to select one of the three fan levels
(see Table).

1. The heat pump function can only be switched on or off via the remote control
when the "heat pump" switch has been operated on the device (i.e. when the
function has been switched on).
The remote control is surface-mounted. To simplify connection, it
is recommended to mount the casing on top of a flush-type box
(installation instructions are included with the remote control).
The HW HP and the remote control are connected on site via a
6-pole connecting cable (see the Chapter 5.3 "Electrical Connec-
tion").
Note:
Continuous operation of the heating element cannot be switched
via the remote control (see the Section 5.3 "External heating ele-
ment control").
Hot water temperature controller (rotary controller)
The rotary knob is used to set the desired hot water temperature.
If the cylinder temperature is lower than the set hot water temper-
ature, the heat pump is switched on (if the "heat pump" switch is
in the "On" position).
The maximum hot water temperature that can be attained with
the heat pump is 60 °C. The standard heating element can be
used if higher temperatures are required.
