Procedures
Removing the Seat Assembly
You may remove the seat assembly to access the valve block
area of the machine.
1. Unlatch and raise the seat, securing it with the prop rod.
2. Disconnect the 2 wire-harness connectors under the
seat.
3. Lower the seat and remove the roll pin securing the
seat-pivot rod to the frame

4. Slide the seat-pivot rod to the left side, slide the seat
forward, and lift the seat out.
5. Reverse the procedure to install the seat.

Note: If you remove the seat assembly frequently, you can
replace the roll pin with an R-key pin (Part No. 3290-467).
Jacking the Machine
CAUTION
If the machine is not properly supported, it could
fall, crushing you or others.
Before servicing, support the machine with jack
stands or blocks of wood.
Before jacking the machine, lower the cutting units. The
jacking points are as follows:
•
Right side—under the jack pad and adjacent to the
ROPS-support bracket
•
Left side—under the step
•
Rear—at the caster fork
