SELECTING AN APPROACH

When selecting an approach, it replaces the destination airport with the sequence
of waypoints for the selected approach. Keep in mind that the airport must have a
published approach (GPS, RNAV, VOR, NDB, localizer, or ILS) and only the final course
segment (final approach fix to missed approach point) of the published approach is
available in the aera. If the airport does not have a published approach, the 'Select
Approach' menu option is not available.
An approach can be selected using the Direct-to, Active Flight Plan, and the Saved
Flight Plan functions.
Selecting an approach from the active or saved flight plan:
1) From the Main Menu, touch Active Flight Plan.
Or:
a) From the Main Menu, touch Flight Plan List.
b) Touch the desired Flight Plan from the list. An option menu appears.
c) Touch Edit.
2) With the flight plan displayed, touch Menu.
3) Touch Select Approach (only available if the destination airport has a
published approach).
4) Touch
to display a list of approaches.
5) Touch the desired approach.
6) Touch Load Approach, Activate Approach, or Activate Vectors-to-
Final. The designated transition waypoints are added to the flight plan.
