Self-Encryption Drive

Thecus IP storage support SED drive which could leverage crypto capability of disk
itself. Click on "Self-Encryption Drive" from category Disk & RIAD and the installed
disks list will appear. The disk drive which is capable for self-encryption will have
check box available to operate further. Please see below:
To setup available SED drive, please click on check box then "Set Password" tab will
appear. Click on "Set Password" to have associated disk Encryption enabled, please
do install USB disk and the password will store on it or it will have error message to
notify.
Need to install USB disk on system,
password will store on it.
NOTE
 The SED disk setting is only available while
disk is unused
 The USB disk which has contained password
need to plug-in on system once associated
SED disk is part of RAID member during
system power on.
 Without enable encryption on SED disk, it is
just like normal disk
