DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
Door Lock Control Switch
INSPECTION OF DOOR LOCK CONTROL
SWITCH
INSPECT SWITCH CONTINU ITY
Inspect the switch continuity between terminals.

LOCK
OFF

UNLOCK
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch,
Door Lock Relay{For Back Door)
I NSPECTION OF DOOR LOCK RELAY
1. INSPECT REL AY CONTINUI TY
(a) Check that there is continuity between terminals 1
and 3.
(b) Check that there is no continuity between terminals
2 and 4 ,
If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.
2. INSPECT RELAY OPERATION
(a) Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 3.
Ib) Check that there is continuity between terminals 2
and4.
If operation is not as specified, replace the relay.
Door Lock Solenoid
INSPECTION OF DOOR LOCK SOLENOID
INSPECT SOLENOID OPERATION
(al Connect the positive
(+)
lead from the battery to
terminal 2. Connect the negative (-) lead to terminal
4. Check that the solenoid operates lock direction.
