(c) Using 55T, remove the companion flange.

3. REMOVE OIL SEAL AND OIL SLING ER
(a) Using SST, remove the oil seal.

(b) Remove the oil slinger.
4. REMOVE FRONT BEARING AND BEARING SPACER
(a) Using SST, remove the front bearing from the drive
pinion.

(b) Remove the bearing spacer.
5. INSTALL NEW BEARING SPACER AND FRONT
BEARING
6. INSTALL OIL SEAL AND OIL SLINGER
(a) Install the oil stinger.
(b) Using SST, install a new oil seal.

Oil seal drive in depth: 1.0 mm {O.0394 in. }
(c) Apply MP grease to the oil seal lip.
7. INSTALL COMPANION FL ANGE
{a} Install the companion flange.
(b) Coat the threads of a new nut with gear oil.
