Raising and Lowering Seat Height

To raise the seat from the factory delivered setting, a collar and lock pin
are required (Figure 4J). If you need the collar and lock pin, contact
Hoveround ®
1. Loosen the locking bolt on the corner of the seat post, using the
1/4 inch hex wrench supplied with the chair.
2. If your seat has removable arms, remove the Velcro strap at the rear
of the seat to release the controller cable.
3. Remove the armrest, with controller, by loosening knob at the back
of the seat. Set the armrest and controller gently to the side. Remove
the seat from the base.
4. Install the collar and pin in the desired hole on the seat post. (Figure 4K)
5. Reinstall the seat on the base.
6. Tighten locking bolt with the 1/4 inch wrench.
7. Install armrest. Secure controller cable in the back with the Velcro
strap. When securing controller cable make sure there is enough
slack in the cable to avoid pinching the cable. (See Figure 4L)
