Understanding the Port Status LEDs
The switch includes LED indicators for each port to indicate link status and network
activity. The port LEDs are shown below and described in the following table.

Status
Port has a valid 10/100 Mbps link. Blinking
indicates traffic on the port.
Port has a valid 1000 Mbps link. Blinking indicates
traffic on the port.
The link is down.
A PoE device is connected and using less than or
equal to 15.4 W of power supplied from the switch.
A PoE device is connected and using greater than
15.4 W of power supplied from the switch.
No PoE device is connected.
Port has a valid 10/100 Mbps link. Blinking
indicates traffic on the port.
Port has a valid 1000 Mbps link. Blinking indicates
traffic on the port.
The link is down.
