APPLICATION DATA Safety precautions • When installing the unit, be sure to check and satisfy the requirements in the selection of installation location, power supply specifica- tions, usage limitation (piping length, height differences between indoor and outdoor units, power supply voltage and etc.) and installa- tion spaces.

When working on indoor units, let the unit sit for about  minute after turning off the power before you begin work. When working on an outdoor unit, there may be an electrical charge applied to the main circuit (electrolytic condenser), so begin work only after discharg- ing this electrical charge (to DC 0 V or lower).
