Information on Filter Capacity

When installing a new fi lter, the status indication on top of the fi lter
icon is 100%.

This percentage gradually decreases from 100% to 20% with use.
3 When fi lter capacity drops below 10%, the fi lter icon fl ashes on and
off for 2 seconds. This indicates that fi lter performance has decreased
to the point where the fi lter needs to be removed and replaced with a
new one.
4 If you do not replace the fi lter, the fi lter icon fl ashes on and off for 1
second when fi lter capacity drops to 0%. If you ignore this warning, the
display will not show the fi lter icon anymore.
5 If the fi lter icon is not displayed anymore, you will need to descale the
machine before installing a new fi lter.
Caution:
If the fi lter is not replaced promptly, the machine will require a descal-
ing cycle to be performed.
