Automatic switch-off/economy mode

The scale automatically detects whether it is being operated on rechargeable batteries
alone or whether it is connected to the mains.
– With rechargeable battery operation: automatic shut-down after 30 seconds.
– With mains operation: shut-down only via keypad.

Taring weight display (TARE)

The Tare function is useful if an extra weight is to be discounted in a weighing operation.
Proceed as follows:
– Press the green Start key.
– First place the extra weight on the scale
and activate the Tare function by keep-
ing the HOLD/TARE key depressed.
The display is reset to zero.

– Now put the patient on the scale with
the extra weight previously weighed.
The scale now shows the weight of the
patient without the extra load. You can
now perform as many additional weigh-
ing operations as you like.
– Deactivate the Tare function by keeping
the key depressed again; the scale re-
turns to normal weighing mode and the
tare value (the value of the extra weight)
is erased.
– The Tare value can also be erased by the
scale being switched off.
