Dive functions

The dive function controls the filling of the ballast tank. When water floods into the tank, the model becomes
heavier and will submerge. Surfacing is achieved by reducing the amount of water in the ballast tank. It is easy
to achieve a buoyancy level for the model in the water by briefly tapping on the dive or surface pushbuttons. If
the model will not submerge despite a full ballast tank, there must still be small air bubbles inside the open area
on the tower or clinging to the hull. Press the model briefly under the water surface by hand and gently shake it
a little until the bubbles rise.

Maiden voyage

Charge the battery and test the model's functions. Check if all plug-on parts are securely seated, particularly the
switch hatch. Now the maiden voyage can begin. It may be necessary to briefly press the model under water to
release air bubbles from the tower's open area. Take it easy during the maiden voyage. Take the time to
become familiar with the model's maneuvering behavior. Do not maneuver far away, the model must never go
out of sight.
Now have a lot of fun with your U-16 Emden model submarine.
