Protecting against
unauthorised access
Protect the system settings of the base with
a PIN known only to yourself. The system PIN
must be entered when, for example, regis-
tering/deregistering a handset to/from the
base or when restoring the default settings.
Changing the system PIN
You can change the 4-digit system PIN set on
the base (default setting: 0000) to a 4-digit
PIN known only by you.

Resetting the system PIN
If you have forgotten your system PIN you
can reset the base to the original code 0000:
Disconnect the power cord from the base.
Hold down the registration/paging key on
the base while reconnecting the power
cable to the base. Press and hold the key for
at least five seconds.
The base has now been reset and the system
PIN 0000 set.
Please note
All handsets are deregistered and must
be re-registered. All settings are restored
to the factory settings.
