Capture screenshots

Capture images of your screen while you are using your
device.
Note
• Taking screenhots might not be possible in some
apps and features.
To capture a screenshot:
• Press and hold the Power button and the Volume
down button simultaneously.
X Captured images are saved to Gallery
X A notification symbol is displayed on the status
bar.
Change sound settings and sound
mode
Change the settings for various sounds on your device.
You can also switch between the sound modes loud,
mute and silent.
To change the settings for system sounds:

Tap Settings
on the Home screen or on the All
Apps screen.

Tap Sound, and change the desired settings.
To change the sound mode:
1
Press the Volume down button all the way down until
the sound mode switches to mute.
X The mute mode icon

X The sound is turned off and your device only
vibrates now.

In mute mode, press the Volume key once more to
switch the sound mode to silent.
X The silent mode icon

X The sound and the vibration are turned off.

To turn the vibration on again when in silent mode,
press the Volume up button once.

To turn the sound on again, press the Volume up
button until the desired volume is reached.

Power saving mode

To save your SpeechAir's battery power, you can set the
display brightness to be automatically controlled, reduce
the brightness of the display and the backlight time, or
turn on Airplane mode.
Set automatic display brightness or reduce the
brightness

Swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap
to open Quick Settings.

Tap Brightness.

To set automatic display brightness, tap the blue
Auto bar.
To reduce the display brightness, tap and hold the
blue control, and drag it left.
Alternatively, adjust the display brightness following the
nest steps:

Tap Settings
on the Home screen or on the All
Apps screen.

Tap Display.
3
Tap Brightness.
4
To set automatic display brightness, tap the blue
Auto bar.
To reduce the display brightness, tap and hold the
blue control, and drag it left.
Reduce the backlight time

Tap Settings
on the Home screen or on the All
Apps screen.

Tap Display.

Tap Sleep.
X The Sleep pop-up window appears.

Select the length of time for your screen to turn off the
backlight when the device is not used.
Turn on Airplane mode
In Airplane mode, SpeechAir's signal transmitting
functions are turned off. This way you can save battery
power.
To turn on Airplane mode:

Swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap
to open Quick Settings.

Tap Airplane Mode.
