This sets the synchronization of the internal time code

generator.
0: The time code reader is synchronized with the time code
read from the tape.
1: What the time code generator will be synchronized with can
be preset using either the operation panel controls or the
remote controller.
REC
This sets the operation mode in which the time code of the
FREE
internal time code generator is to advance.
0: The time code advances only during recording.
1: It advances while the power is on regardless of the mode
which has been established.
TC&UB This selects the signal to be regenerated when the TCG (time
TC
code generator) is in the REGEN mode.
UB
0: Both the time code and user's bit are regenerated.
1: Only the time code is regenerated.
2: Only the user's bit is regenerated.
AS&IN This selects whether the time code is to be regenerated during
ASSEM automatic editing using the unit's control panel.
INSRT 0: The time code is regenerated with assemble or insert
MANU
editing.
1: The time code is regenerated with assemble editing.
2: The time code is regenerated with insert editing.
3: The setup menu item No.503 (REGEN) setting is followed.
This selects the time code in use of external time code.
LTC
SLTC 0: LTC of TIME CODE IN terminal is used.
SVITC 1: LTC information applied to serial signal is used.
2: VITC information applied to serial signal is used.
