Operation

CHARGING CRADLE

Power On/Off

1. Press and hold
the radio ON.
A channel number and battery level
should appear on the display.
2. Press and hold
the radio OFF
Power Off feature is not available
in Menu mode. Exit Menu mode
to use Power off feature.
NOTE

Volume

The volume level can be adjusted from 0
(no volume) to 7 (maximum volume).

Setting The Squelch

The squelch is used to eliminate any annoying background noise when there
are no signals present.
Sq 1 - max sensitivity (min squelch)
Sq 2 - min sensitivity (max/tight squelch)
