17. Press the Space bar now.
The Stereo Indicator script passes when the Logging Window displays:
Note: You could perform this test manually if desired by clicking the send
button once next to the R 8.0.0.6.3.3.0.1 command with the antenna
connected, disconnect the antenna and click the send button again
next to the R 8.0.0.6.3.3.0.1 command.
18. Plug in the FM antenna and you will hear the station tuned again.
19. Press and release the "Menu" button on the MDK-C3.
20. Press the "-" minus button and highlight "AM" and press the "OK" button.
21. The AM Tuning Dial will display.
22. Use the "+" or "-" and tune to an AM Radio Station.
23. Listen for clean undistorted sound from both speakers
The oscilloscope should display clean undistorted audio.
24. Select the FM dial again by repeating Steps 15 - 17and select FM.
25. Unplug the FM Antenna.
26. Press the "Russound" button on the SRC2 Remote control.
Press the "Stop" button on the SRC2 Remote control.
27. The word "Seek" will display on the MDK-C3 with the FM antenna unplugged.
Plug in the FM Antenna.
28. When the FM Dial stops on the next good station proves the "Tuned"
signal of the AM/FM tuner tests ok.
The Dial Frequency must go to the next station and not the next increment.
The Dial tuning from 99.5 to 99.7 is not a good test.
The Dial tuning from 99.5 to 100.3 is a good test when both are known good
stations in your area.
29. Press the "TV" button on the SRC2 to prepare the remote control for IR
testing described later in the test procedure.
30. Unplug the Speakers connected the Speaker isolation Test fixture.
You could also wire a switch to each speaker and turn it off that way.
31. Press the space bar since to start the next group.
