1.4 Installing the P3100 Zone Player

If you are installing the P3100 rack mount component, the network connection is completed by connecting one of the P3100's two Ethernet ports directly to the home's net-
work using a standard Ethernet cable. Either of the two Ethernet ports will communicate when connected, as shown in fig. 5. The second port is used for daisy chaining multi-
ple P3100 units for more audio zones, as shown in fig. 6. Note that the P3100 is not a wireless device and does not use the Gateway for communication.
