Setup and RS232 Interface Test
1. Use 2 of the 7 CA-LCD2 Keypads as shown on page 26 and connect to Common IR
Output of the CAS44.
2. Connect the AX-6 to the CAS44 using the diagram below.
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 1 jacks connect to CAS44 Source Input 1
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 2 jacks connect to CAS44 Source Input 2
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 3 jacks connect to CAS44 Source Input 3
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 4 jacks connect to CAS44 Source Input 4
3. Plug speakers into the Zone number the KP4 is connected to.
If Keypad Port 1 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 1.
If Keypad Port 2 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 2.
If Keypad Port 3 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 3.
If Keypad Port 4 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 4.
