selected o perating s ystem. F or t he p urpose o f t his d ocument w e w ill b e u sing v Space 6 i n c onjunction

1.1 I nstalling v Space
Begin b y g oing t o w ww.ncomputing.com/softwaredownload a nd d ownloading t he l atest v ersion o f
vSpace. O nce t he d ownload i s c omplete, l aunch t he v Space i nstaller a nd p roceed t hrough t he g uided
install p rocess. B e s ure t o r eboot y our h ost o nce t he i nstallation p rocess i s c omplete.
1.2 R egistering v Space
Once v Space i s i nstalled, r egister t he h ost s oftware b y
right-­‐clicking o n t he N Computing i con i n y our s ystem t ray
and s electing " vSpace R egistration," a s s hown i n t he i mage
to t he r ight.
This w ill l aunch t he R egistration U tility a nd y ou w ill b e
guided t hrough t he r emainder o f t he r egistration p rocess.
1.3 C onnecting Y our D evices
vSpace i s n ow r eady t o a ccept c onnections f rom L a nd L -­‐series d evices. K eep i n m ind t hat, b y d efault,
your d evices w ill a utomatically l ook f or v Space h osts o n t heir d esignated s ubnet. Y ou c an a lter t his
behavior f rom t he d evices t hemselves o r f rom w ithin t he N C C onsole ( 5.4 C onnections T ab) a t a ny t ime.
