Using this Installation Guide
Purpose
This Installation Guide contains information necessary to install and setup the:
For information about using this Printer, refer to the corresponding User's
Guide.
The procedures described in this Installation Guide are to be performed by
HP-qualified Service Personnel only.
Before starting the installation procedure, spend some time reading the
Safety Precautions and Notes on Installation and Handling, which are
contained in this section of the Installation Guide.
Chapters in this Document
Chapter 1: Describes the required manpower and lists the tools required to
complete the installation.
Chapter 2: Describes the necessary requirements before installing the
Printer. Before starting installation, check that the site chosen by the user
meets these requirements.
Chapter 3: Shows the Printer configuration and names of the various
standard components.
Chapter 4: Describes the procedures for unpacking, assembling and
installing the Printer.
Chapter 5: Describes how to calibrate the Printheads to ensure good Print
Quality.
Chapter 6: Explains how to install the RIP and connect the USB Cable to a
Computer.
Chapter 7: Explains how to check the correct operation of the Printer.
