After a power failure
After a power failure, it is possible that the roof
will only move to the raised position. Have the
system initialised. BMW recommends that you
have this work performed by BMW Service.
Manual operation
In the event of an electrical fault, you can move
the glass roof manually:
1. Take out the interior light, reach behind the
aperture and press out the cover.
2. Insert the Allen key from the toolkit, see
page 229, into the designated aperture.
Turn the glass roof in the desired direction.
