4.5 Batteries

If the batteries are exposed to very low or very high temperatures for a long time, they
can lose their power thus reducing the range between the transmitter and the receiver.
Receiver
1. If the low battery symbol
on the display beneath the indoor
temperature trend square, it is time
to change the receiver batteries.
When the batteries are low the following
can happen:
• The display is blank or is faint.
• The range between the transmitter
and receiver is reduced.
• Data from the transmitter is lost.
2. The receiver requires 2 x AA/LR6
batteries (alkaline).
Transmitter
1. If the low battery symbol
on the transmitter's display, it is time to
replace the batteries.
2. The low battery symbol
appears beneath the outdoor
temperature trend square on
the receiver.
3. The transmitter (sensor) requires
2 x AA/LR6 batteries (alkaline).
