In preparation for feeding, the lift plate raises to push the paper against the pick roller. The lift plate stops
pushing at the point where the pick roller is at the proper height for picking.
After the pick roller is in position, it feeds the topmost paper to the isolation roller. Separator pads opposite the
pick roller ensure that only one sheet is fed at a time.
The motor (pick) drives the lift plate and pick roller. The sensor (media out) detects if the tray is empty.
